The annual UMAC – ICOM International Committee for University Museums and Collections – Universeum, is going to be held online between 1 and 3 september 2021. The planned physical conference at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, has been postponed to a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic limitations.
The theme of UMAC-Universeum 2021 will be New Opportunities – New Challenges in Times of COVID-19. This year, UMAC hopes to use the new experiences to explore themes of adaptability and resilience.
The Call for Proposals for the meeting is already online. It’s possibile to propose papers, workshops and, for the first time, videos.
