2020 was a turning point for our community: the double crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the protests linked to the Black Lives Matter movement have highlighted many inequalities and weaknesses in the sector, but have also served as catalysts for innovations and progresses already underway. The way out of the crisis calls for a review of all areas of museum work: ICOM members are striving to make our network and the museum community more transparent, resilient and inclusive, and to create a sustainable future for and with the communities we serve. You can find here a few highlights of what is happening in our network.
